International dormitory for young global leaders
It’s a English based selection method internantional dormitory, which serves as new base for cultivating global leaders. As a residential education institution, we design the environment where residents can improve themselves while interacting with other residents from various backgrounds and values . We provide educational programs, career development support and other interesting programs so that residents can grow as global leaders.

Co-living space where young professionals from various nationalities, cultures and professional backgrounds live together. We provide a wide variety of events and programs.
Experiential co-living space for family
Co-living space for families who want to raise their children in diversified and international environment. Residents live more fullfilling life by sharing some facilities and services such as car or home-visit nursing care while ensuring their privacy.
U Share locate in Nishi Waseda near Waseda University and in Minami Aoyama where various cultures intersect. We are palnning to expand to other areas in Tokyo and beyond.

Masamichi is a licensed architect (first grade) / developer with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Waseda University and a Master of Architecture degree from Osamu Ishiyama Laboratory in Waseda University Graduate School. After he graduated from Waseda University graduate school, he won the Azusa Ono Memorial Award. He was involved in the startup stage of the nendo design office. He engaged in the CRE, PFI, large-scale development inside and outside of Japan at Kashima Corporation Design Headquarters, urban planning group. As a Fulbright scholar, he received a Master of Real Estate Design degree from Harvard Uniersity Graduate School of Design. After study abroad, he was involved in the real estate private equity business at Morgan Stanley Capital KK. and Angelo Goldon. From the experience of Lehman collapse, by making use of the architectural development method which integrating “long-term and socially conscious real estate investment” and “added value through design”, he aimes to create the sustainable place where people can act lively through real estate development at urban or rural area. He engaged not only in the activities in the business world but also in the non-profit activities. He also gives lectures about real estate design at Keio University SFC campus and Waseda Univeristy. Received various awards; the Azusa Ono Memorial Award, SD review award, Good Design Award, Reconstruction Special Award. His hobby is cooking. He can make Edomae-Sushi.
KUROFUNE Design Holdings Inc.
Takafumi is a licensed urban planner based in Japan where his research and professional experience in urban planning, finance, and policy making brings a social and economic perspective to the design of the spatial and built environment across multiple scales. His current work focuses on creating a diverse and inclusive environment through spatial and real estate developments, which also properly reflect the existing local identities and cultures to maximize the uniqueness that each place has. He has professional experience in mergers & acquisitions and the equity offering business at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. After having engaged in developer’s finance projects, as a World Bank scholarship fellow, he returned to Harvard to study the issues in the urban arena. Upon graduating from Harvard, he worked for Sasaki as an urban planner. Some of his past project work includes international development, campus planning in the U.S., district planning, and community engagement. He holds a Master of Urban Planning from Harvard Graduate School of Design with a concentration in urban design and real estate development, and a B.A. in Policy Management from Keio University – Tokyo, Japan, where he graduated as a valedictorian (top student). During his time at college, he spent a year at The University of Edinburgh as an exchange student. Fluent in Japanese, English, and French. His hobbies are watching rugby matches, traveling, and playing the piano.

Taito is a business leader with a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School and first-class licensed architect with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tokyo. At Takenaka Corporation, one of the largest general contractors in Japan, he completed a number of architecture projects which ranged from condominiums, offices and dormitories. After joining Plantec Group, an architecture design and construction firm, he managed projects with premier global clients such as Apple.With a passion to strengthen a rejuvenating impact architecture brings to urban built environment, he learned management and entrepreneurship in an MBA program at Harvard Business School. He now strives to manage Plantec Group and run an educational program inspired by what he learned at Harvard.

Hiromasa Hurufu started the student venture when he was in Tokyo Institute of Technology. After graduation, he started his own business called “Oisix”, which sells safe, secure, and delicious foods such as organic vegetables. “Enrich the dining tables in Japan through foods and change society for the better”. Under this mission, he was in charge of the value creation of the projects, such as product development and system development. He drove the business growth of Oisix and it went public on the stock exchange in 2013. After that, while he was in MIT Sloan Fellows MBA, he met Inoue and Ueta, who went to Harvard University at that time, and he started the KUROFUNE Design Holdings Inc. with them. Also, he is drafting a plan for space business by making use of the networks in MIT.

Armando Sullivan works as a Transportation Planner in the City of New York. He earned his Master’s in Urban Planning from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. His passion is using spatial analysis and urban design to empower marginalized communities with mobility. This mobility opens doors to economic and cultural opportunities that have the power to transform quality of life.His current work focuses on using design, spatial analysis, quantitative analysis, and strategic planning to improve the quality of transportation systems around the U.S. By improving these systems, a greater number of residents are able to benefit from the mobility provided by these systems.Before beginning at Harvard, Armando earned his Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Temple University. He has studied urban development in Brazil, Estonia, and Japan. Domestically, he has worked in public, nonprot, and private sectors in transportation planning.
Goldman Sachs Inc.Vice President
Akiko Takai was grown up in Japan, France, England, and United States. After she graduated from Sophia University, department of English Studies, she worked for Daiwa Securities Co. Ltd., department of international finance, and took part in fundraising for overseas enterprise. At that time, she was sent on loan to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and being involved in the negotiation of FTA with Philippines and Thailand. After that, she received a Master of International Corporate Strategy degree from Hitotsubashi University Graduate School. During her time at Hitotsubashi University Graduate School, she spent a year at HEC Paris in France as an exchange student, and she also did the internship of the project called Saved the Children. After that, she worked for product development department in Deutsche Bank Group and Goldman Sachs Group and had professional experiences in marketing and composition of the product which incorporates project finance, asset finance, and derivatives. During maternity leave, she moved to Boston since her husband went study abroad to there and she gave birth to a 3rd child. Now, she is raising three kids; 1 year old, 3 years old, and 7 years old, respectively.
Waseda University, School of Political Science and Economics
Student of Waseda University, school of Political Science and Economics, department of International Politics and Economics. Born in Japan, raised in Singapore and Sri Lanka, and earned the International Baccalaureate diploma at an international school in the Philippines. Has engaged in community building of the Japanese and international residents as an RA(Resident Assistant) for two years, at Waseda University’s international dormitory. She will support the operation of U Share Nishi Waseda as an RA, after its Grand Opening.
US tech company
Taichi Murase works for an US tech company after he graduated from Waseda University, the department of commercial science. From the childhood experience when he lived in United States for 6 years, he lived in the international student residence for 4 years when he was in waseda university in order to put himself in more international environment. Also, from the experience when he interacted with the students from different backgrounds in international student residence, he decided to go study abroad to the Toronto University. After study abroad, he worked as a RA in the international student residence and he supported the japanese students from countryside and foreign exchange students
Japanese Real Estate Developer
Riona Kunimoto works for a Japanese real estate developer based in Tokyo. She graduated from the Waseda University with a major in Political Science and Economics. She got 940 score on TOEIC and she obtained Grade 1 in the EIKEN Test in Practical English Proficiency without having the experience of living abroad. After she spent a year at Babson College in Massachusetts, United States, during her time at Waseda University, she helped start the U Share project and she worked on business support, such as creating content for services.
Sara Tanaka works in the finance industry after she graduated from Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus, Faculty of Policy Management. She spent 4 years in the international school in the Sri Lanka during her time in elementary school and in junior high school. After she was admitted to the Keio University, she devoted herself to the cross-cutting research in the seminar which studies about practical management strategy through consultation and in the seminar which studies the ideology behind the financial policy in the Islamic countries with a focus on Indonesia.
Fulford EnterprisesProject Manager
Zoë graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2015 with a First Class Honours B.A. Degree in Japanese with Distinction in Spoken Japanese. As part of her 4-year degree program, Zoë spent 1 year as an exchange student at Waseda University in Tokyo, studying on the university’s Intensive Japanese Language Program. After graduating from the University of Edinburgh, Zoë moved to Japan and worked for 1 year as an Assistant Language Teacher in Unzen City, Nagasaki Prefecture. Next she worked for 4 years as an Overseas Promotion Specialist at Fukushima Prefecture Tourism and Local Products Association, before starting her current job at Fulford Enterprises. Fluent in English and Japanese. Zoë’s hobbies include photography, travel, and hiking.
