Event Name: Social event / Grand Welcome

On April 16th-17th we hosted a Grand Welcome Event for the 1st batch of residents at U Share Nishi Waseda.
The Grand Welcome Event is a traditional welcoming event for the new “U Sharees” at the beginning of each semester (April and September). The event is designed with an aim to encourage new members to socialize and get comfortable with the U Share family, and to foster a feeling of pride towards being a U Share member.
This year marked the 1st anniversary of the official opening of U Share Nishiwaseda, and was attended by students from all over Japan, from Iwate in the north to Okinawa in the south, and residents from diverse backgrounds, including international students from Singapore and Korea.
