    Asuna Okubo

    Asuna is principal at Owls Consulting Group, which is a leading consulting firm in the sustainability field in Japan, and worked at a financial institution, IT advisory firm, and Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting LLC. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Keio University, and completed a Master’s degree in Urban Development Economics with distinction from University College London (UCL) in the United Kingdom.

    At Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting, she was engaged in a wide range of projects such as sustainability strategy planning for private companies and policy planning for the ASEAN region collaborating with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. She is also involved in developing business plans for NPO/NGO and creating a mechanism for the elimination of child labor in Ghana in collaboration with a Japanese NPO.

    At Owls Consulting Group, she has lead variety of projects in business strategy and sustainability strategy.
    Completed the Basic Auditor Course of “SA8000,” an international standard in the field of labor and human rights. Director at Ethical Association (a Japanese NPO).
